Can International students participate in the competition

Hi Group ,

We are a group of two international students who are willing to participate in this competition. But in the application , at the end , there is a check box which states that only permanent residents or citizens can participate. Is there any way we can participate or Is it the end of our dream to code for Media Mash.Thanks in advance for all the suggestions.

    Hi Kaushik,

    The Media Mash rules do require contestants to be citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. The reason for this is that different countries have different legal regulations that apply to competitions that include their citizens/residents.

    UPDATE:

    The Media Mash rules allow anyone who is a legal resident of the U.S. to enter. This includes individuals residing in the U.S. on a student visa. The submission form will be updated shortly to reflect this.
